Jeff Hilton, KnowledgeCircles CEO

After successfully selling his business of 26 years, Hilton Computer Strategies, one of Houston’s premier technical training companies and a Microsoft Gold Partner of 22 years, Jeff started PowerCircles, a business dedicated to facilitating peer advisory forums for small businesses.

His vision for PowerCircles was to harness the power of peer groups in an easy to consume, over-the-web format, eliminating the time and expense of travel.  Since then the PowerCircles’ mission expanded to include a trio of services to promote business success via peer group meetings, business education webinars and small business coaching.  In May 2011, PowerCircles became KnowledgeCircles, a name that fully captures the goal of our services.

As an early leader in the computer networking industry, Jeff has been a presenter at numerous industry events and trade shows.  He has the added distinction of being one of the very first Microsoft Certified Professionals.

Jeff has also been heavily involved with Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), an IT project management framework, since its beginning.  He has traveled worldwide to teach these classes and was instrumental in creating content and certification exams on this topic.

Jeff was a co-founder of United Training, a national consortium of independently owned IT training centers, and a number of other businesses.  He has served as an advisory council member for Microsoft, Barnes & Noble, and others.  He also has facilitated advisory council meetings for Microsoft

Throughout his career, Jeff has created innovative ways to run and operate businesses.  His entrepreneurial passion has always led him to wonder “How can we do this better, faster, more cost effective, and wow our customers?”  This continues to be his driving force in providing best practices, ideas, approaches, and brainstorming sessions to help business owners achieve their best.

Jeff lives in Houston, TX with his wife and daughter, and two dogs.   He enjoys travel, reading, working-out and spending time with his family.
